EAST RIVER FAMILY STRENGTHENING COLLABORATIVE

ENRICHING LIVES EAST OF THE RIVER
East River Family Strengthening Collaborative (ERFSC) works with the community to support families, provide a safe space for youths to thrive, and decrease violence. We work to ensure seniors and persons with disabilities are afforded equal rights and opportunities.
CASE MANAGEMENT
AND SUPPORT
As a core focus, we offer case management support across many of our programs to coordinate and deliver formal and informal services and activities, to improve the well-being of children, youth, families, and seniors residing in Wards 7 and 8.
Capacity Building
and Technical
Assistance
We provide support to community-based organizations and families to strengthen their ability to serve our communities effectively.
Community
Resources
When ERFSC does not have the resources in-house, we refer families to alternative community resources. We follow up to ensure families successfully engage with those services.
Quality
Assurance
We ensure the Ward 7 community receives consistent quality services by monitoring grant and contract outcomes, identifying gaps in services, conducting senior surveys, and more.

My daughter and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again, for the wonderful shopping excursion on this pass Thursday. I was impressed with the professionalism of you and your team and the timely manner from the moment we boarded the beautiful, comfortable coach, the friendly driver and safe journey to and from Wegman’s. The stipend given to purchase food helped tremendously with the outrageous high prices of food today. I am grateful and look forward to participating in future programs the “Family Success Center” will be providing.
I will spread the word.

I really appreciate the gift certificate I earned during the East of the River self-care workshop series to Justina’s Hair Gallery. The hairdo came just in time for the ceremony I was in when my son received recognition from the UDC Firebirds basketball team for being a graduating senior. Thank you East of the River for helping me in my self-care journey.

Help us to continue to make a positive impact on the lives of Ward 7 residents.
